Meet Meg

Thanks for stopping by for a little ray of sunshine; I'm glad you are here!

Faith, family and fitness fuel my soul and keep my fire burning bright. I'm a woman of God, devoted wife and proud momma bear. I love fiercely, wear my heart on my sleeve, and look for the joy in each day.

Healthy living and an active lifestyle have always been important to me; growing up, my parents encouraged us to play various sports and fueled our love of the outdoors. I have enjoyed athletics my entire life and I love to hike and ski. Gardening is another passion of mine and many of my joys come from being in the fresh air.

I attended Springfield College (SC) for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, majoring in Athletic Training and Strength & Conditioning respectively. I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best in my field through my internships in collegiate strength and conditioning settings, working at an executive squash club in Boston 's financial district, creating and leading a high school strength program from conception and currently overseeing the wellness program at a premier Boston country club. I have learned valuable skills to assist people of all ages in incorporating activities, fitness and wellness into their everyday life; not to mention injury prevention, nutrition and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

As a fitness professional with over 15 years of experience, I understand the necessity in delivering care and respect to each person I come in contact with. To me, everyone has an important role in this world and can make a difference in some way, no matter how small.

The idea of "A Spoonful of Strength" has been on my heart for far too long. I tend to be quite an optimistic person and through my journey so far, I have noticed it's a trait many people forget they possess. Whether it is a touch of motivation, a bit of healthy living or a dose of wellness; I always try to pass along a little sunshine to everyone I meet. I'm excited for this next step in my life, thanks for riding along.
